Dr. med. Christian Forster ist Oberarzt in der Zentralen Notfallaufnahme am Klinikum Fürth. 
Nach seiner Ausbildung zum Krankenpfleger in Nürnberg studierte Dr. Christian Forster von 1994 bis 2000 Humanmedizin an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen. Seine Assistenzarztzeit absolvierte er  an der Medizinischen Klinik IV der Universitätsklinik Erlangen. Seit 2016 ist Dr. Christian Forster als Oberarzt in der Zentralen Notaufnahme am Klinikum Fürth tätig.

Dr. Christian Forster besitzt die Anerkennung und Fachkunde als „Facharzt für Innere Medizin“, für die „Notfallmedizin“, „Spezielle internistische Intensivmedizin“, „Nephrologie“ sowie als „Diabetologe DDG“ und „Hypertensiologe DHL“. Nebenberuflich ist Dr. Christian Forster weiterhin im ärztlichen Bereitschaftsdienst der Region Cadolzburg, Roßtal und Zirndorf aktiv.

Dr. Forster besitzt die Zertifizierung AMG-GCP / MPG- Iso 14155 (Klinische Studien) und hat unter anderem in „Critical Care“ publiziert. 

Über das Webinar:

Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil vieler Screeningprotokolle für Notfallaufnahmen ist die Beurteilung der Nierenfunktion. Durch die Bestimmung unter anderem von Creatininwerten und der eGFR können Patienten mit akutem Nierenversagen (ANV) schnell identifiziert werden.

Zudem kann der Nierenstatus vor einer CT- oder MRT-Untersuchung bestimmt werden, um das Risiko eines kontrastmittelinduzierten Nierenversagens zu beurteilen. Creatininwerte können darüber hinaus ein entscheidender Faktor zum Vermeiden einer überfüllten Notaufnahme und für die Optimierung der Verweildauer eines Patienten sein. 

In dem Webinar beleuchtet Dr. med. Christian Forster die Bedeutung des Parameters Creatinin aus der Sicht eines nephrologisch orientierten Notfallmediziners, erläutert den Wert der ad-hoc-Verfügbarkeit des Kreatinins in der Notfallmedizin und diskutiert mögliche Vorteile für die Prozessoptimierung in der Notfallaufnahme.
